Feeding Relationships

Some of the organisms in the table below are hetertrophs and others are autotrophs.  The hetertophs may also be consumers, detritivores or saprotrophs.

When these organisms are put into food chains they can be identified as producers, primary consumers, secondary consumers, or decomposers.

They also have a trophic level.
